What’s really in those expensive big brand beauty products? The miracle creams you see at Nordstrums, Neimans and chic boutiques in places like the Champs Elysées in Paris. And what about the ones being touted as natural and organic. What are the real ingredients in some of those products?

Have you noticed how hard it is to find the full ingredient list of the big brand beauty cosmetic brands?

They always list what’s not in their product and what the healthy ingredients are in their products. But they are not forthcoming with their full ingredient list. So I thought I would share what’s really in some of those products.

If you are curious about the ingredient list of any product. Write to us on our contact page on our website www.natures-skin-and-body-food.com or write us through our facebook page and we’ll publish them in future issues.

Let’s take a look at a product manufactured by Origins. A company owned by Estee Lauder who have positioned their brand as a luxury healthy organic line of skin care products. You can buy their products online or at various retail locations globally. Let’s talk a look at one of their products.

Review for toxicity: I don’t even know where to start with this product, lots of chemicals. Squalane is a hydrogenated version of squalene. It is added to vaccinations to increase the vaccine response. In vaccines it is called MF59, Some research has linked it with Gulf War Syndrome and as a possible link with autoimmune diseases like lupus. Butylene Glycol is derived from petroleum. It penetrates the skin and can weaken protein and cellular structure. In concentrations high enough it can take the barnacles off a ship. It will cause death in high enough amounts. Dimethicone is silicone oil the same stuff they banned being used in breast implants. Some of the essential oils used are skin irritants like lavender, citronellol and some others. Propylene glycol is just another version of butylene glycol. Phenoxyethanol is a toxic preservative being used as a replacement for parabens. Studies prove that even in small amounts it kills cells.

You don't have to be a chemist to understand these are not exactly healthy substances to expose your cells to. But when you make products that might have to sit in a warehouse for years before the customer purchases, you don't have much choice but to use chemicals like those. Finding a company that naturally preserves and where your product is fresh when you purchase is a much better more effective option.

In a few days I will give you a review on a product under the Creme De La Mer brand umbrella, which is another company owned by Estee Lauder.

As a side note we are getting ready to launch our newest product “Nature’s Skin Light(tm)". The only truly non-toxic organic skin lightening cream ever developed. Our independent scientific studies show good results on age spots, skin discolorations, even ethnic skin lightening in as little as ten days. And it is very nourishing for the skin. We’ll have a pre-launch promotion soon.
